May not be the BEST in the world, but hey to use as a monitor or TV for 699? Who can say no?!

If it works that would definitely be an excellent second monitor. Great find!

I have HD output on my 6600GT... I'm really thinking about this. The resolution however only goes to 1024x768. Do you think this would be a great monitor? It doesn't have DVI, only D sub.

I want to buy it.. :)

Well im sure it would be nice.......not an 8ms, DVI, or 3000:1 ratio.....but you will not find a 30" WS LCD HD-ready to use as a normal pc monitor or TV monitor for 700.

Jeez, thats incredibly cheap. I checked out there other models and the other 30 inch has dvi. its 899 plus a 100 dollar rebate. so you pay 799 thats still really good.

I'm not a TV guru, so I don't really know the difference between high quality LCDs and low quality.

What is this one missing that I'd be disappointed in, when I get it?

I have a very crisp 27" regular television, and it is starting to have some interesting problems after 8 years...

What would make this LCD a good choice or a bad choice as a replacement TV?

This is the last thing I needed to see... I just ordered a bunch of parts to start a HTPC and it got me thinking how lacking my 19" TV is...
