I changed by bios setting so i had
136/34
and it works fine!
But when i tryed to change it to 140/44 i think! it got to the bios screen where it says the CPU speed (which was 1107) and locked up (again).
I think the problem could be my psu it is only 250watt!!! also i am using a standard heatsink and fan on the CPU 4600rpm coolmaster.
I think that could be the problem plz could you get back to me on this one.
I have an abit kt7a mobo non raid.

p.s what is a good temp for a CPU mine was running at 31.1*C

Are your L1's bridged successfully?

running your pci bus at 44 will create serious problems for you even if your cpu isn't over heating.

PCI must remain as close to 33 as possible. At 44, even one slighlty picky card will lock the system and you risk burning up cards.

try 145 fsb. That's much closer to 33 bus.
