View Full Version : Which graphics Card should i use

Basically i have a problem which graphics card for me i want something more pokey than a geforce mx 200 but not as expensive as a geforce 2 ultra or gf3...

THE LIST IS
All excluding vat.... doh
1.ATI RADEON DDR 64mb £115

2.GeForce GTS 32mb £75 quid

3.GeForce 2 MX 400 64MB AGP £46 quid unbranded card

4.Prophet 4500 PowerVR KyroII 64MB AGP £83

Yes i know there is a differance in price but which one would your recommend and keep ocloking in mind they would probably recive a water block on entering the sytsem its destined for... which is a

ASus A7V
800 duron oc 1GHz 100x10
256mb ram
8mb Ati CRAP
2xvoodoo2 Usless in win XP (3dfx ruled the world when you need to shelter from the rain under excessive sized vid cards..)
etc...........

any comments well appreciated.

in your shoes i would go for the radeon or a gf2pro, or maybe even a kyro if i planned to upgrade cpu.......i suggest the radeon...the 2D is awesome and at highres 32bit color itll be as fast a the gts.....

Use my Graphix Card
ASUS V7100Pro 32MB (MX400)
it'z really good at least the graphix are awesome
well it'z smooth running it @ 1024x768!!
and best of all it'z good to o/c
i would recommend it if ur trying to upgrade ur graphix card using a small amount of money!!!
