I have my axia "9" 1000 @ 1530 mhz (153 x 10) (stable)
Vcore: 2.2 Volt
Idle temp: 45 C
Fulload temp : 50-51 C
System temp: 33-35 C
I would not be worried If the vcore was below 1.85 Volt with these temps but I heard when you get above 2 volts high temps gets more dangerous.
And if someone could calculate the watts of my cpu at 1530 that would be nice too:)

hey,
nice overclock, congrats! your temps are a bit on the high side but as long as your pc runs stable that's no big problem. the wattage of your cpu at 1530 and 2.2 vcore is about 131.2 watts.

Okey
Thanks for the answer. 131 watt gives me enough heat In the room now so I keep the radiator off:)
Lets se if its able to keep my room warm in the mid winter:)
That's one hell of an O/C:D!! I'm stuck with my system 'cause my VCore is maxed out already. Were did you have your voltmod done or did you do it yourself?
Hmmm...2.2 volts is quite a lot and will shorten the life of your cpu and motherboard. I have the same chip...1ghz crappy axia and it takes me 2.07 volts to do 1.54ghz but thats with some good watercooling and even then i dont like my temps. I recoment that you lower the voltage to under 2.05 till you get some better cooling to handle that heat. The little mhz loss will be worth it.

Those temps are great! This is especially true if they are accurate. After tweaking my system, i've downed the clock speed for more memory bandwidth. To be honest though, I cannot get my ram to run much faster because my northbridge stops at 107Mhz (KT7A)
1.4Ghz @ 1.562 (142fsb) 47C Idle 49 Load
Im using an SK6 and ASII
BTW, what makes your o/c even better is that it was a 1Ghz!!! Congrats!
As said above, if the temperatures are accurate, you should be alright.
Nice job!
Good Luck!

How do you figure the W on a cpu , I mean the formula?
DC fan I think its just W= A x V
AC fan = ???
CPU = ???
50c load !! and you guys think thats ok....talk about low standards.

download radiate , it does all the work for you , it is located on the front page of overclockers.com , I will try to get you a link.

How much would that temp/voltage combo shorten the life? I mean if these things are designed to last 10 years and you cut the life span in half, does that really matter? IMHO if I get 2 years out of a cpu and mobo I'm happy, because I'm just gonna replace it less time than that anyway.
For a good O'clcok, you deserve a hand:

OK , here is what you do ,goto AMD's website ,the listed danger point for temps are 70C , the voltage may be a little high and dangerous , but your temps are not to bad ,not in my opinion

I don't like 50c either but I think it is ok. What amd says about the temps of their cpu's is bs. I've seen some cpu's crap out at 60c and other at 80c (not overclocked). My cpu is full load at 40c (1020@2.14 vcore). Radiate says 78.4 watts, what version do you have as it seems to show higher watts than mine (1.0618.22)

Sonny.
Did the voltmod myself. Not to hard I think.
Thanks for the answers. I think I stop at 1530 mhz on this cpu. Have worked on it since April and I think the temps are allright and the comp is very stable.

wow 50C!!!
I will never let my computer go past ~43c!!!
I would get some better cooling before going 2.2 vcore
the only people I know that have done that are people with vapochill or using a big pelt or water cooling that is tweaked to the max or with a bong

i would lower the o/c right away
although i've got similar temps as u...
my ayjha Y runs at 1.61 stable
