alright. i have some patriot pc4000, that has tccd chips and i think it has a bp pcb. how do you identify it, i know theres bp 808 and bp 815, but which is which and which is better? thanks for the help in advanced

You can find the numbers at the end of the stick. The BPU808 clocks better than compare to the BPU815.

AFAIK , bp815 is just a revision of bp808 with a different color PCB . I read that somewhere on madshrimps.com . But i might be wrong.

it can be found on the end of the stick? like would a heatspreader hide it? im not in a heatspreader removing feeling, but i might as well

BP PCB usually has less caps than the JEDEC reference, and is considerably shorter than the JEDEC reference PCB.

yea it was alot shorter, like maybe a 1/4 of an inch or more.

mines bp815. whoo hoo! just look at the very side of the stick. it should be visible without removing the heatspreader
