Temps Higher In WIN2K ???

Hi all I have noticed my processor is hotter at idle by alot with win2k than in 98se Or Me.

Is there a reason for this someone can explain.Are there items running in the backk ground causing this or Is my hardware mointer not working properly In Win2k ???

Thats funny my temps atleast at idle went down slightly. Have you updated yet SP1 SP2 and everthing else MS wants to give you?

I think that there are just more things running in the background in 2k...more services and the like.

It could also be due to certain Power Management things that you don't have set or don't work with your motherboard or something.

I have sp2 i will try sp1 update also/

I also have a start cop that allows me to deselect start up items but am new to 2K so am unsure what is what.Any help anyone
