The DFI NF4 boards have a lot of settings that most boards do not, so it seems to be confusing people as it's not clear what needs to be set. Here are all of the settings laid out for the PC4000 Gold VX. Most, if not all, can be used for PC3200 VX as well.

GENIE BIOS

FSB - 200
LDT/FSB - 4x
LDT Bus Transfer - 16/16
PCI Express - 100MHz
Cool and Quiet - Disabled
CPU VID Startup Value - Startup
CPU VID Control - 1.5v
CPU VID Special Control - Above VID x 104%
LDT Voltage Control - 1.2v
Chipset Voltage Control - 1.7v
DRAM Voltage Control - 3.3v

DRAM Configuration

DRAM Frequency - 200
CPC - Enable
CAS Latency - 2
TRCD - 2
TRAS - 10
TRP - 2
TRC - 7
TRFC - Auto
TRRD - 2
TWR - 2
TWTR - 1
TRWT - 2
TREF - 3120
TWCL - Auto
DRAM Bank Interleave - Enabled
DQS Skew Control - Auto
DQS Skew Value - 0
DRAM Drive Strength - Auto
DRAM Data Drive Strength - Level 4
Max Async Latency - Auto
Read Preamble Time - Auto
Idle Cycle Limit - 256 Clocks
Dynamic Counter - Disable
R/W Queue Bypass - 16x
Bypass Max - 07x
32 Byte Granularity - Disable (8 Bursts)

I have found that BIOS 310 is the best for this memory. Also, please make sure that you use the 5v jumper on the motherboard. If you have any questions, please reply to this thread, or PM me.

Sean,

Do you think that similar settings would work with most variants of the UTT chips? I have a friend with that board and he is trying to get the most out of his UTT ram so I was going to send him a link to your post. Worst case these should get him in the ballpark, with some add'l tweaking to fine tune it to his system.

Mate,
Did you try the 4/14's ? How do they stack up?

Can you please add that here (or, with your permission I'll copy/paste it):-

That's almost exactly what I settled on for the VX/TwinMOS, except I don't like to bump VChip and can get by with 1.5.

THIS (http://forums.mushkin.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=1860) is what I use. Also, TREF 1168 worked best for me, not 4708. These settings got me to 262mhz at 2-2-2-8.
