Hi all.... :)
I got a wanderfull celly 800 @ 1120 (1.95 vcore) and it seems to run very well in playing games. But there'is a problem...sometimes my system doesn t want to boot cause a strange registry error. I can t bypass it cause it is a dos application and it only allow me to restart the machine.
I tried to disable this windows function without good result...I uncheked the scan registry option under the "msconfig" but this option represents the second scan that windows makes.
I want to disable the initial registry scan and don t know where i have to go ;)
My cpu is perfectly stable (both windows boot and games) at a frequency of 1066 with a 1.85 vcore.
I forgot...I have tried if it was a ram problem and it was not...I got a wanderfull infineon 7.5 ns ram and it runs stable at 140 cas 2-2-2.
Guys ...give me the goods :)

The Registry Key I have when it runs is as follows
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
check out C:\WINDOWS\scanregw.exe /autorun is the registry program call parameters as I understand them.
I would try and move that program out of that directory and try the msconfig again. I use System Mechanic to disable it without fail as when I overclock I would get that error message with the registry and it would reboot. I do not know of the side effects to not allowing this to happen. But hope this info helps.

BTW I am using WinMe which most hate but I love :) But things should be the same for 98se as well.

When it finds errors in the registry and it won't boot that means that you have overclocked too much...ie your system is unstable.

You don't have to post the question multiple times, either. If you accidentally post in the wrong topic just wait a little bit and a moderator will move it for you. Thanks. :)

You are correct Thelemac :) I do not use it as Thelemac is right but I have tried to see if I could get the system to boot and I was able to bypass the registry scan with what I shared :)
