I've just installed some water cooling gear (Overclock labs plexy). I'm cooling the CPU and MB chipset. I have a GPU water block, but when I fitted it an put the pipes in there was a lot of side force on the card in the AGP slot and I think it was lifting the block off the chip. Anyone have ideas how to solve this?

The pump plugs straight into the mains and is on all the time, is it supposed to run 24/7, even when the computer is off?

How do I get over my constant paranoia of springing a leak?

to take stress of the gpu, try making the tubing connected to it longer. as for the pump, it's entirely up to you. some people like to keep them on 24/7 and others turn them off. just make sure the pump is on before turning your computer on ;)
leak test the loop for 24 hours or so before installing it onto your components. put some paper under everything to see where there is a leak if any.
