try to search the forums for some XP discussions ( even comparing to other MS OS ). I know there was a lot... there are so many ipinions that nobody can really tell if it is good/better or not....;)

Long time MS users know better than to be the first kid on the block that upgrades to something as important as a new OS. Sit back with your old well know (and working OS) and read some newsgroups/forums about how others are making out...wait for MS to issue a service pack then test the waters in a dual boot arrangement. Some users do jump right in and don't have any problems but others end up with tons of trouble that may have been avoided just by waiting.

xp is great, rock solid. i havent' had any troubles yet and i used to freeze like a naked man in siberia. highly recommended os:D

But guys you seem to be missing the point its a copy of Linus Mandrake with Windoze name stuck on it.

Actually, they took the stability of Windows 2000 and gave it a Mandrake look.

Best of both worlds.

I like XP, but only the Pro version.
