Don't worry, Felinusz, yours were on the bench right next to this one! I'm priming this one now and Felinusz, yours are still on skim coat on the 'paint bucket' step.

the fan going in there is 172mm and its going on my wc shroud which right now has 2 120mm fans

niice...why are you replacing the two 120mm? because of noise / cfm / whatever?

How's this for a tease....

I have a picture of a fresh coat of paint sitting on a freshly 800grit wet-sanded shroud.

I never thought of making a fiberglass shroud before. but seems like a lot of work compared to a cardboard one :)

Another tease. I have a picture of a shroud for a 172mm fan that has gone through two wetsands with 1000 grit sandpaper and is on clearcoat. It will be up in a bit.

Because it moves a whole lot more air and if I turn it to the same levels its quieter. Besides it looks a whole lot cooler

I got some finished pics but I've been using a laptop to get info off of the sd card and the laptop left for Cleveland last night. I'll try and get the cable soon. That material in the first picture is reflected almost perfectly on all sides.
