I just checked my machine and found an error message waiting for me. The message said that Seti had already recieved this result from me and it would be deleted to prevent duplication. Why would Seti send me the same wu in the first place????

Don't ask me, but I had that same error a few months back. Dunno how it happened, or why I got a duplicate, but I did. Mabey thats another one of SETIs minor problems.....

I just received this weekend not less than 20 copies of the same WU. In both of my crunchers!!!!!

This is 01mar01aa unit with 0.714 AR. Hope that SETI credit all of them to me :)

This is the second time they sent me a duplicat wu. Only my K6 seems to be processing new wu's and when I checked it today found it had been Idleing for 4 hours, unable to transmit results. Moreover my Duron had an unknown fatal error while working on my duplicate wu. How does folding work??

You got a cache eobard? That should allieviate the idle problems. As for the other stuff, I heard of this piece of software called 'push the freakin button'. You give it the title of a window, and what button to push, and it will automaticly push it for you. If SETI has an error, you can tell the program to hit "ok" or whatever, and then SETISpy will open a new instance when it finds it idle for more than xxx minutes.

No cash, no cache either for that matter. :( Someone, maybe you, pointed me towards a method to cache wu's for the gui but dumbassedly I chose not to follow up on it. Whomever that was if you point me in the right direction again this time I'll take a serious look into it. As for the push button dealie that's a cool idea, great name too, where do I get that??
