Dark images in pictures and games

I have a gforce 3 ti500 with a syncmaster 750s. All my games and pictures seem realy dark even when the monitor is on full bright and contrast. i haved updated the drivers for both the card and the monitor but everything is still realy dark. i adjusted the card and anything else i can think of... is there a way to get the colors and brightness to match what they should be or am i missing something

I'm having that same problem on my Relisys monitor and 6200. I, too, would like to know what's up.

Could the monitor be going? I would say either that or the Frame Buffer is naffed...
