thats what my bios reads from my okia 550 watt power supply i dont think its any good so i'd like a second or third opinion. :bang head  i had some random reboots from a 450 watt generic psu so this 550 was what i just purchased.should i take it back. thanks in advance.
btw the computer is a p4 #530 3.0ghz on an intel d915cyl m\b 1 sata drive an ati x600 and 2 drives cdrom and dvd
yea... 11.2 IS WAY TOO LOW!! return that thing ASAP and get ur money back
if it is the psu: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/pinecom/550watwfanat.html
ITS A POS ~ so 11.2v is prolly what they all got!
no better than your generic
go buy a TT, fortron, ocz or something of that lot
stay away from cheap POS's :)
there's a 450w modstream in the cyber deals section for $45 AR
if your on a budget then thats the way to go

No! :santa:
Okia is horrible, I've had some bad past experiences with them.
Let me just tell you now that your system is safer off than being powered by an Okia.
I had one smoke two NF7-S boards in a row before I found out it was the issue, now I make myself spend $100+ on a good PSU, always.

Anything made by OCZ is good in my book.

Before you run and take it back don't trust the BIOS readings. Get a meter and test it first. If it still reads low then go take it back.

Why go to the expense and trouble? The Brand plain sux to start with, evidently the bios read higher voltages on his previous PSU, so although it may not be right, it still close enuf to show that he got a POS PSU. Plus he might screw up while testing with the meter and fry the PSU/the meter or himself LOL- // WAIT - I see he did have random reboots b4 - also with a cheepo PSU- but I'd go ahead and get a Fotron/OCZ
i agree ^^
if he's having random reboots after a new psu, its most likely that

I agree that PSU is nothing that I would even consider to put in my system and that he should take it back. You are also probably right that it is the PSU. I also think that every person who is going to get involved in computers at this level should also have a meter in their toolbox and know how to use it.

LOL SHOULD .. That is almost as big a word as IF.
I broke my multimeter- (got wet) and didnt half know how to use it anyhow. :bang head flunked electronics in HS.

i did test it and it seems the motherboard does not read the right volts.the 12 is 12.34 the +5 is 5.34 and +3.3 is 3.46 but still agree about the real cheap design of the okia so its going back tommorow and will be replaced with an antec 550. so thanks again everyone  cheers

I have an Aspire X-Navigator case with a 500W PSU. The +12V is 34amps...is that good?

That will be a big step up - Okia is known for using Deer supplies. I would have junked it regardless of the meter readings ;)
