I used the one click install of FAH some time ago, I have since replaced my motherboard in attempts to push a new overclock speed on my current setup. However I want to unintall this version of FAH but cant seem to figure it out how. It is becoming increasiling difficult to overclock this new setup because of FAH always running in the background. And if I have to format my harddrive to get rid of it I will, and it will not go back on. Unless someone can at least guide me to uninstall it. Also I would like to reinstall the correct way because I have never been able to set up my name and team name correctly for it. If any of you have any clues for helping me out thanks in advance.

I look foward to contiune to fold for team32.

my OC was a 3.06 @ 3.5 ,,, right now I am pushing 3.06 @ 3.68 think I can go a bit higher but need a lot of rebooting to get the settings correct. And having to remember to hit ctrl alt delete and stopping the FAH process is getting rather annoying...

First go to Start > Run and type services.msc. Find the FAH service, right click it and select stop. Right click again select disabled. Delete the FAH folder found at C:\Program Files\FAH. Go to Start > Run and type regedit. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\FAH and delete the whole FAH folder. You are now fully uninstalled.

Another way to stop FAH from starting while you are logged in is to add the FAH Service Stop batch file to your startup folder. When you login, the batch file will run and stop folding. This will allow you to function without FAH getting in the way. Once you are done tweaking, just delete the batch file and FAH will run like normal.

Check out THIS POST (http://www.ocforums.com/showpost.php?p=3641839&postcount=8) and go to the "How to Stop/Pause the FAH service for benchies and gaming" Section to find out more information and links to where you can download the appropriate batch file for your system.

Thanks for the feedback guys I will check it when I get home from the office... the regedit and the services sounds like what I need to do, I looked into the startup before and did not find any Bat file for it....

but as I said thanks for the feedback and GO TEAM32.

Think I can push this chip to 3.8 or 3.9 Ill let you know

You would have to add the batch file manually. The link I included had several attached files to the bottom of that post. You would have to download one and unzip the file, then copy the stop batch file to your startup folder:
Start -> All Programs -> Startup

Good luck overclocking!

To re-install correctly, download wedo's one click here (http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=231247). Once downloaded (and unzipped), open the client.cfg file with notepad and change username = Wedo to username = UndredKlocked or whatever you want your folding name to be. Then run the exe file from the one click and everything should be good as gold. If you run the exe before editing the cfg file, go into c:\program files\f@h and edit the cfg file there.
