Hey guys i have this PC2100 ram 2x256 modules and its labled samsung i was wondering if i put it in my current rig would i lose or gain performance? any help is greatly appreciated thanks.

Lose...a lot. A lot of a lot. More than you want. Don't do it.

no prob. It would just lower your RAM's FSB to the pc2100 speeds (from 400MHz applied to only 266MHz applied....no good)
