There are laser cut fan grills, laser cut aluminum cases, laser cut this, and that.

Some people have "friends" that can get it done for 'em.

But what kinf of buisness has a laser cutting machine? If you want 1000 cerbeurators made, you go to a machine shop. If you want a dining room table with matching chairs, you go to a place that does that. What kind of "shop" uses machines to laser cut metal?

I've got some HSFs, and some other things I'd like to have cut, but I havn't a clue as to what kinf of establishment to look up in the phone book, so I can call around and see if they'll do single jobs, like mine.

(A side note, if anyone knows someone who knows someone's aunt whose son's friend has a laser cutting machine shop in southern California, Los Angeles area, lemmie know. I wanna get hooked up!)

I can hook people up with laser, waterjet or plasma cutting, but there is a catch (always huh), the laser and waterjet are $100.00 an hour, and plasma is $60.00. I may be able to get a better deal for quantity orders, I'm sure I am, but we need to get several people together. I also can get access to any other type of equipment. rakes, Shears Folders, Coil lines, etc...

I wish you said that yesterday... I just finished cutting them all with a hacksaw. They came out damn good, what with their nicely filed edges, and lapped bottoms, but I'd have liked to get it done with a laser.

I would imagine that WaterJet would be the most common. I'm sure that I could find sometbody who could do that around Grimsby. Hell, the town's FULL of Tool-and-die companies.

Sounds like Torrance, here in California. All metal working comanies.
