I was thinking about getting this RAM, do you think I should pull the trigger? Does anybody have any experience with it? Anybody know if it comes cheaper anyplace else? Lastly, what's the fastest FSB an xp mobile 2600 can do?

For $15 more I think you'd be much better off with this TCCD.

that isn't tccd anymore, its winbound bh-5 (or 'bh-5 quality' UTT).

Need faster than 200mhz. It'd have to MAJORLY OC.

I agree with rseven.I have the 4000 and the 4400.I have had a set of 4000 go bad. RMA was a hassle they needed a copy of the Invoice. Before processing the RMA.What jackholes. But other wise good performance to the dollar.

The TCCD ram will clock higher than the PC4000 you were going to buy. If you check reviews you will varify this statement. Good luck.

i paid 160 for my set, @ that price it's pretty good.
I just saw another thread here that says that this stuff could be BH5 and not tccd.

I was the last one to get TCCD out of the Geil Ultra X from newegg. Tresmonos and I bought the last two sets in stock, before the current stock, and he had to RMA because it wasn't even the correct ram.
When he got the same ram back, it was bh5 grade. I'm not sure if it's real bh5 or just good winbond chips.
