Cable modems, Zonealert and IP's

How does one go about figuring out which IP address are the ones that are required by my @home ISP to communicate with my computer in order to retain my IP address lease. And also how does one go about obtaining them so they can be authorized in Zonealert.

Would need some info. What operating system do you use and are you on a network and maybe a specific proplem.

you want to let their DHCP server in.

to keep your IP, do a few simple things,
1: don't powerdown your modem, and
2: every once in a while (every few days) load up WINIPCFG and renew your address (or IPCONFIG /renew_all
