I know there is a thread asking what lighting set up people have - mainly blue from the poll. I was wondering whether you peeps could post some of your lighting schemes. I'm in the process of deciding on a new case, i want lights in it too. I am torn between black or silver...and what to know how good certain schemes look in both colours, (blue/green/etc in black and then in a silver case).
So plz post ur pics - and try not to inuadate with blue - i need a few pics tho so i can make comparisons.
Cheers D.L
**EDIT** Could you also include a quick description on what components u have used in ur rig...cold cathodes, EL string, UV cables etc... **

okay, well, i Don't have any good red cathodes, so heres mine with an orangey 'red' sound activate CCFL:
Here, you can see a faint glow:

My continued Red on Black scheme continues with Drive Bezels:

With the light on (note this is a VERY old picture, as of now, my Neon is NOT visible when looking at that angle):

With the red painted 'Z' (normally SHINY silver, like the studs around it)

Here you can see where my neon is (its HUGE, and not a cool huge):

Here's another shot of my front door, without flash, where you can see the Blue POWER Led very bright, and the red HDD leds on (I did a disk cleanup to ensure the lights were on):

Main angle of how I see my PC with the neon on (my neon is more orangey, unlike the pink in this picture):

With the neon on:

With the neon off (Front exaust fans make the red light):

With neon and Flash (notice how its orangey, thats how it looks to me):

In that last pic, you can see how strong the CCFL is (look at the bottom of the PSU and the top mess of wires)
btw, my equip is:
One 12" red CCFL
3 red LED 80mm fans
and one tri-led fan (true red LED, true yellow, true orange)

If i had red UV paint, I was gonna paint the 'Z' and the backing UV Red, and then put a UV led in there (I have one from greenman)... but I never got paint, and I didn't feel like waiting...
so now im gonna get a UV pen and mod my mouse :D
btw, what did you use to 'sleeve' your wires shellshock?

just some cheap split wire loom from the hardward store, personally i dont like it, it makes it to hard to organize. I jsut didnt want to go through the trouble of pulling off all of the molexes and atx connector, the wire loom is split so it makes it easy to install

Mine's kinda plain n simple. Dual UV ccfl, dual red ccfl. I hadn't made a 'red' case yet. :p

It's a crappy ass webcam pic, but I just got the lit graphics card fan in the other day. I've yet to steal a digicam to take a pic. If you look closely, you can also see my ugly mug in the reflection of the case window. :santa:

Four 12" UV CCFL in square config around the side window.
The trick taking UV system images is to reset the white balence to eliminate
that typical blue wash effect.
http://server2.uploadit.org/files/Susquehannock-newv2.jpg
Once the side panel is on you can't see the tubes - only the system is lit not the surrounding area.
Used a table lamp to illuminate the outside to get effect of both lighting types at once.

UV reactive systems can be overdone. If the colored components are placed
stratigically the different colors won't wash together to make white - which is all
too common.
Notice how the PCI card blocks the yellow from my bottom USB2 cables from shining
on the rest of the system for instance.

PhreakinSyco - that has to be one of the coolest looking acrylic cases i have ever seen! I really like the lighting in that (can see your wiring tho  )
Has anyone got an exmaple of black case with green and UV??

Very Nice Reyn!!!
my gaming rig actually looks alot better now, the blue neon IDE cables has been replaced by blue UV IDE. I rearranged all the cable to the other side of the case so there's absolute no cable clutter at all in the case. + I installed UV cold cathode so it looks ALOT better now. But it's complete disembled cuz I need to cut some parts out of the case.
