So how much would it cost Canadian in a store like Futureshop?

probably 450-500, that is, of coarse, if you could find 1 in future shop. :rolleyes:

They really over-charge, but i buy stuff from there cuz you can get a really long no-questions-asked warranty. :cool:

nooo, it aint worth it, wait till the radeon 8500 comes out (a week or so i think), the gf3 prices will go way down......

i didnt realize they did that until cisco kid said he did that. find an open box product, show em the price that addax or atic or any other retailer has.....they will match it, give you an open box discount and with the 3 year warranty for $20 your set:) even if its new, theyll match the price plus take of %10 of the difference. all told i got my radeon 64mb vivo for $225CDN.

and i agree....that warranty at futureshop is gold. i bought an HP burner there 2 years ago, and ive taken it in 5 times(ill never buy hp again).....each time i got a newer model. bought a 2x, now i have a 8x:)

yes, nvidia just doing what intel does....hmm lets release something with a negligible performance gain, wiht a new name, jut so we can fool the public into thinking its a whole lot better......the tis are just to dazzle the public with names, and with good drivers the 8500 can run with or bveat a geforce3.....

Beat the poop out of a GF3, but still, it'll be pricey. After a year or so i might even buy 1 :) . But i think my GF3 has at least another 18 months in it. :D
