may I ask why are you aren't contemplating a T-Line?

I did the rez thing and I did the T-line thing, and having a midtower case, I used it for the space saving ability, its just another thing to contemplate

You use a 3 way tee and you can use something like a 1/2"-3/4" threaded barb on the upper end with a brass hose cap that you can get a Lowe's for like $2. A t-line saves space but can make it harder to bleed a system depending on where you put it. It works best when it is at the top of your loop. Using a res does make it easier to get the air out. The Swifty poly plastic bayres reservoirs are pretty good although they are not much to look at. I used one for a while and it worked great, but I changed to t-lines just to save space in my case.
