Do we want our own domain?

Look in the Calling all Stats People (http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=38113) post for the reasons for it.

Also, if you like the idea, post your idea for the URL (www.ocsetiteam.com or whathaveyou), and we'll gather those up for a poll if it's decided to go for that.

C'MON! 63 reads, and I'M the first reply?!?!

My vote is to get a domain. As long as you can handle the costs... It would be nice to have an address that is humanly readable, and I think it would look more "professional"....

As for name, I'm going with the first suggestion in the "Calling All Stats People" thread.

I'm worried some people don't know what's meant by our own domain. Maybe they think it means leaving overclockers or something. Anyway Kris suggested www.overclockerssetiteam.com instead of my initial idea of www.teamoverclockers.com He's got a point because the official team name has always been "Overclockers Seti Team"

I was actually in fact thinking more in the lines of www.OCSetiTeam.com for ease of typing it in, but I think really what we need to do is this, get suggestion's for what all think that our Domain name should be and then I will post a poll and we can get a general consensus. So let's have it!!!

Get those suggestion's coming!

only because of your page graphics & name on the berekely server "www.overclockers.com SETI Team" do I think it should be:

www.OverclockersSetiTeam

Believe it or not, MANY, many of the "big teams" now know who we are—let's keep them apprised of WHO is gaining on them and WHERE to find us... when they want to join up... :D
