Hey guys!

Well I ran a search and only found a link to a year old post on procooling that's missing the all important pic...

I'm switching tomorrow to an A64 mobile clawhammer socket 754 system, from a P4 Prescott system. Now I need to know a couple of things to make changes in my watercooling before I use the new stuff that arrives tomorrow night as a guinea pig.

a) What is the dimension of an Athlon64 clawhammer mobile socket 754 processor?

b) Perchance anyone know the hole spacing (only two holes, across the core)?

I know about the cambox clearance dilema, being missing the height boost of the heatspreader...got that covered.

Help much appreciated!

Yeah, what he said...

I guess I'll have the chip this afternoon, but thanks.
Now to stop by Lowe's and get some supplies for making one of my waterblocks fit this thing. I was thinking about a wooden top waterblock..haven't ever seen one of those before. ;)

Found something interesting lastnight, AOpen uses a low profile socket cam box, so using a mobile (or any IHS-less) processor poses no problem with hsf/waterblock clearance.
They also have mobile enabled bios' for their mobo's.
