I know the Kington Value RAM is not the memory for overclocking :)

But I somehow ended up with 2GB total (4x 512) of PC3200

I'd like to try to ocee them. Wanted to know if there was any risk
involved and how far can I expect to push.

The stuff I have is CL3 @ 2.6v

I can't really make out the ID numbers. In any case, if they can
do say 215 FSB at most I'd be happy.

BTW, are heatspreaders worth it? I'm reading rather mixed things
about them.

Heatspreaders are mainly for decoration. If you are pushing 3.2v or more, then they help a little.

dunno bout you guys in usa, but here in malaysia, kingston valueram using the Hynix BT-D43 chips are quite good oc'ers for the price.....2.5-4-4-11 at 255mhz is quite normal.

This is what I got written on the semi conductors: K4H560838F-TCCC

It appears to be Samsung made.
