I know everyone suggests Fortron/Sparkle PSUs, but they simply don't sell them where I live; searching these forums is frustrating because I only find suggestions for those 2 brands, or OCZ, which also isn't an option.

I'm sorry the website is in italian, but you should be able to understand what they have for sale. If you don't feel like clicking, here are the brands they offer which are powerful enough:
Enermax Ixix Infomaniak Coolermaster Takei
From what I read, Enermax would be the best among these... or should I look for another store?
I don't care about looks, and don't need anything fancy like SLI...

enermax would be the best.

Actually you do have access to Fortron - Nexus uses their units. Of the rest of the selection there, look at the Enermax and higher watt Coolermaster units.

Whats your buget?
The Enermax units are some of the most efficent units on the market, reviews suggest something in the 80% while other brand name PSU's are in the lower 50%. What does it mean? If the efficency is rated 50% then units rated 500W will actually dump 250W and output only 250W to the components connected.
I'm using 50% as an example but most high rated PSU's do waste alot of W and you are basicly paying for heat output.
Here is a link to reviews, it features some of the PSU's you have on the site but also check other PSU articales on the site: Link (http://www20.tomshardware.com/howto/20050228/index.html)

P.S
You are not Yugoslavian by any chance? I'm asking because of your nickname.

No, I'm italian; and thanks for the clarification on power efficiency - I had already read those reviews on tom's, but I wasn't really sure about what they meant by efficiency.
I didn't know that about nexus, I'll take it in consideration.
Thanks for your replies!

Not quite... it refers to AC/DC conversion efficiency, meaning that a 500w PSU that is 50% efficient at full load is drawing 1000w from the wall socket.

But it will still output 500W, no matter what??

It's Toms. Enough said...

My vote is for the Nexus Nx-4090 400w.

Yeah, the psu rating for watts is 500W OUTPUT, so if it is 50% efficient then it is drawing 1000W from the plug.
