i dont think that aim supports any java scripts, nor pictures.

if your looking to do a countdown, not a clock, go over to buddyprofile.com, it has an option to do that.

Hmm....
Is there any free software that i could put on my computer to do a countdown (a screensaver perhaps?) I've searched it on google but I haven't found free software or if I did, it had spyware.

off topic but heh, and if you look on there, theres a link to get the new beta aim mail, AOL is trying to compete more with yahoo etc. for freeware.
