reversing the air flow direction with FOP-38

has anyone ever tried to reverse the fan air flow direction of a FOP-38(sucking the air)? did it work/cool better?

this depends on how your fan is set up

you should try doing it both ways and measure the temps while they suck in or blow out

i use(d) to blow out as my other fans right next to teh heatsink can suck out the hot air

Normally on sink with a shroud like the Alphas the Fan should suck and on other it should blow on the Heatsink, but If I was you I would give it a try, it´s small effort!

i know that will mostly depend the pins efficiency on dissipate the heat from the bottom of the sink. trying out is the best way to know anyway. could anyone who already tried it with the FOP-38 help me on that?
