I just started modding my Black Server Cube case and need to install a front 120 MM fan. On the motherboard side in the front there seems to be some type of "rack" like thing that is in the way. It seems to be welded down not bolted or screwed into the case. For those of you that have this case, do I need a hack saw to remove that or will a dremel be fine?

Use the Dremel with the fibre reinforced cut off wheels. Go slow, let the wheel do the work and go at it's own pace.

You can force it and cut quickly and go through wheels even quicker or slow and use maybe one wheel. You decide.

you shouldnt need to remove it..... im doing a similar thing with my server cube, im just putting the fan on the side a little further rearwards so it clears the rack thing.... i think its actually for tidying all the leads to LED's etc.
if you want the airflow to go rearwards, a duct is a simple way to do it....
