When I installed my Genius microphone on my Windows XP pro /w SP2 computer, it gave me a blue screen of death. The error is "MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION." I know the error is related to new hardware installed and memory, but my mic works fine on my Windows XP pro /w SP2 Compaq V2000 laptop. I am using Sound Blaster live! Value sound card.

Thanks!

I used to get that message when gaming. It was because I had an unstable processor OC. If OC'ing the processor, increase the Vcore.
