WinXP version question

I recently obtained and installed(dual-boot system) WinXP. Supposedly, it's the final 2600 version. How can I tell for sure exactly which version of XP I have? I really don't want to mess with any beta stuff right now:D

Check in the System Information Utility (Accessories-->System Tools). It should say Build 2600.

mine say Microsoft Windows XP Professioal version 2002 ..by the way i downloaded this using Morphaeus and need not for any activation. Is this Beta 2600 or really a final ? just curious .Anyway happy to get it and running well no problem. But deep inside beside some look it's no different from win2000. Well XP is xp and new is new .

Actually, even though I just got it myself, I've noticed a big difference from 2000. I was able to install a scanner and a few games that worked with 98 and not 2000. Seem to me to be a more stable 98/2000 mix.
