View Full Version : OC3D domination
Our team is just kicking some serious ass here. The amount of top six scores we've got up on the ORB is awesomely ridiculous. Check it.

26 top 6's, 16 top 3's, and 7 1st place scores, and I'm not even sure I got all of them. Also, a couple more scores could make it if they're done with the latest builds and FM approved drivers. :) Keep it up folks!

I also hold the record for the fastest 9500np in 03. I don't have the pro version, so I can't publish both scores.
Ill soon have the 01/05 records for that card too.
I might even try to take the top spot for 01 with a 6800, but Ill need to borrow an a64 for that.
IIRC, a couple of others are in the same boat as you. :-/ I was wondering why I wasn't seeing your score up there.
I think I see the top 6800 01 score in the near future...;)

Time to try to convince SSS to give you some competion in the 6800 class as he seems to have a pretty decent rig to do it with.

Sorry mate, we're only counting FM approved scores done on the latest build ATM. CPU ranges don't count as a class either; we're talking overall for a certain type of card.
I tried to add some Aquamark scores, we're doing excellent in that benchmark as well. But if I thought the ORB was bad, the ARC is just horrendous. Sorry for you X800XL and X850 folk, Aquamark doesn't even have a category for you. And there's the SLI problem yet again for the 6600 and 6800 classes. :(

I know. :) It's still pretty cool/good considering how much I originally paid for my computer compared to some people. I also just now realized that they switched the FM approved drivers from the 66.93 to the 71.89 so I reinstalled Windows and have been benching again. I haven't been able to beat my old scores yet though.

Umm, is it just me or are there no 3DMark03 scores for the FX5700LE class? That is with approved drivers and newest builds.
If someone can tell me how to join your OC3D Team I could give you a first place in the FX5700LE class. :D
I'm actually in the process of overclocking my video card right now. I have no idea how high it will go yet, but I just broke 2000 3DMarks at 320/471 (stock is 250/400). I'm hoping I can get my card to at least 500/500 by this weekend :D It is on stock cooling with an 80mm fan blowing air directly at it. Looking into adding some staplesinks.
Yeah it looks like there aren't any on the ORB. That should be a pretty easy first place, lol. :D
All you gotta do is get a bench with FM approved drivers on the latest build, and put your forum screen name followed by the team's name in the title. So just title your published scores "NetworkGuru - OC3DMark Team," and post a link to it in the official thread, and you're set.

^^^ There would be mine if it would accept my drivers (which are the FM approved ones). To join the team, where you put in the project name (default of Untitled) put in your forum name and "OC3DMark Team". Like on this one of mine for 3D05:
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=426186
Do a search with all drivers and you'll see my old 03 score of 3296.
Edit:
I took way too long to type that, lol.
Those are some really impressive scores. Get some approved runs in and quick. ;)

I don't think I can. I have Windows Server 2003 EE evaluation version. My last copy of Windows besides that is Win98SE. There aren't any drivers that are WHQL and FM approved for my os. I just remembered that.

hehe i would be #1 in the 6600non GT for AM3, but the #1 and 2 (same person) has a model with the GDDR3 on it. So i guess i am #1 with the standard DDR. After i put my athlon xp HSF, ramsinks, and volt mod i should pull ahead by quite a bit :)
i'm guessing this isn't too bad of a score for a 9600se?
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=842040
srry if i'm crapping the thread, but i'm getting a new heatsink soon and i should be able to get alot higher core speed, only running 450 on that run with stock heatsink :)
and where can i get some good FM approved drivers that will let me OC? i'm guessing the omega's aren't ever going to be approved :(

Try the Cat 4.12s you can download them from www.guru3d.com they are aprroved and one of the best drivers to use for 3dmark.
Then download ATI tool and go into options and select turn off overclock lock.

It seems like that anyways, Nvidia ... BRIBE Futuremark jk lol. ;).
Well, without Win2K and mods/water on my card, we're good for #3 XL class. I would expect to see #1 soon. I wasn't gonna mod this card as it was my daily card, but when i'm this close, it's a must :p I can bench the CPU higher i would imagine. Zork won't hold #1 for long if i have anything to say about it :) Win2K should put me over the top?

FYI, I am testing a Dothan rig (http://www.ocforums.com/showpost.php?p=3702983&postcount=70) right now. Might not be until next weekend that I can hook up the phase change to the CPU and GPU, and get the multiplier working, but I think these Dothans will be breaking 40K in 2001 pretty commonly with advanced cooling.
Should have some nice numbers in a week or two. ;)

Not cool.
I just scored 759 in 3DMark05, which is 7 ahead of every other 5700LE score. It would also be about #7 in the regular 5700 class, not including Ultras (then it would be about 12th). I ran it with the 71.89 drivers, but because I don't have 2K or XP, I use Server 2003. In turn, it says it is not WHQL approved (it really is) or FM approved.
I do have the #7 spot for 5700LEs in Aquamark 3, and the second highest score in 3DMark03 (with unapproved drivers).
:bang head
I'll edit this when I get my new 05 score published.
Edit:
It still won't let me publish my 05 score (seems like a server problem, it just kind of hangs at 'waiting for service.futuremark.com') but here is my AM3 score:
http://arc.aquamark3.com/arc/arc_view.php?run=1026877207
Edit 2:
I finally was able to publish my 05 score; I had to reboot into Linux for some reason; in Windows, it would just hang.

I had to wipe my Server 03 install, so once I get Windows installed again, I will have new benches on a clean system.
