Color Counter Strike Decals?

You know what I'm talking about. Playing Counter Strike, I can throw down my little Lambda symbol in one color. Then, some other guy hits you with the awp from so far away, you can't even hear the report, then runs up, and sprays a full color tag that says "You've been sniped by the sniping god, Mr. Snipy!" that's MUCH bigger than 64x64 pixels. How do you get a cool decal like that? I've searched on the net for it, but thus far haven't found poo. Can anyone here help?

I had a program back in ye olde beta 7 days that could get u a custom 1. But i couldnt get the color to work, it always came out grey.... but it was still sooo cool, i had jack nicholson's face for my spray. Almost too cool. Back to the point, i couldnt get it to work in 1.0, 1.1 or 1.3 (well, havent tryed in 1.3). although what the program did was make a new pldecal.wad file in the CS directory.

Yeah, I've heard tell about the .wad file you have to modify, but nothing clear enough to try it. And I've seen people doing it in 1.3 (just last night, in fact!), so I know you can do it in the later versions, but I'd like to find some instructions on how to do it.

Unfortunately, that method is too direct. You can't make transparencies.

Can you give us the name of a program (Like Half-Life Logo Creator, but that that one, it's "magic wand" tool sucks the big one.)?

on contrare my boba fett friend

a transparent pixel is pure blue, or R0 G0 B255, and thus if, and only if it's PURE BLUE, will it show transparent in the game.

im currently seaching for a better, less "direct" tutorial for you guys, i will admit that one is somewhat sparse in detail. theres plenty others

i think thats good, i doubt all five of those would confuse you, but if so, use the HL spray manager!
