Hi guys, do you think its possible to fit a water cooling system into this case:

What is the smallest water cooling system you can get?

Thanks,

james

You probably could get some sort of water cooling to fit in that case. I have seen it done in smaller environments. The system will probably only perform on par with good air cooling because of the size limitations though. You will probably end up having to do some custom work to get it all to fit.

I'm thinking of using my existing Kingwin H20 setup in this case on my next rebuild if I can find a suitable micro-ATX 939 board. Of course, the 5-1/4" radiator would be relocated to the rear 120mm fan.

yeah! I think I'm gonna get the green one to replace my custom painted HP that I wc'd for my kids. right now it has a BIM with two 92mm Push/Pull on resin shrouds.
The marineland s660 powerhead is in a 4x4 conduit box pumping to my DIY rotor w/b.
I love this case. I can't wait to get it and set it up for my kids.

on gruntville a while ago, someone watercooled a shuttle (took some serious modding tho - pump was half outside of the case) but with new parts like the uber-small MCP350/DDC pump, you'd probably be able to pull off a completely internal system

I say it can be done, but you'd end up w/ like a 120mm rad (don't think any heatercores will fit exactly 120mm) and a small pump. You will also might end up needing to use copper tubing or smaller diamater tubing to fit tight bends, along with it being 99% chance that your "stuck" with a T-line.... Not that they are a bad thing!

You could probably fit an Evercool WC-202 in there but performance wouldn't be the best.

Thanks for the help guys. Im definatly going to go for this, will this sound louder than your normal [stock] cooling set up and will it produce much better results? Also ive heard that i cant overclock my micro atx board too much, is this true?

Thanks,

James

what board do you have? I haven't had much luck with matx boards oc'ing but most of the time I just run them stock...

Dimensions for Unit(DxWxH): 13.8" x 11.2" x 9". Cu'ft: 1.52
that case is similar in size as my htpc box. I dont see any reason why not.
even if it is smaller, a few modifications will allow a lot of things to fit well.

That's nice, I love your sig. Being a next gen fan, I find it hillarious. :) lol

I think it was something that used to be floating around the 'net some time back. About when Pentium chips were to have been found with a math flaw. It seems to go well enough with my avatar pic so I kept it.
