Hi all , I would like to test my system with software that really torture my cpu for stability, what prog should i use and where can i get it? Most of the site's i know that have lots of prog for benchmarks and stability aren't online ( oc-tools..).

One of the best prog. to put your cpu under full load is the folding at home client. Go here (http://www.overclockers.ws/folding/links.html) and download the "client software". Join the team if you like, but rest assured this will put your cpu under 100% load.

I was wondering wich program would torture my comp more, the F@H or Prime95?

I get higher temps when folding then when running prime 95, anywhere from 1C to 2C. I think it is also a good idea to run prime 95, but as long as my computer can fold stable it will be able to do anything that I need it to do.

i belive prime is

becuase its more sensitive to errors
and you can crank the prority up to 10

I downloaded F@H but as soon as i get work my system freezes?
nothing to do with O\C but i cant find any reason.....i dont have done a second of f@h before lockup.
Any idea's?

Does your whole system freeze up or just the client?

why dont you use cpuburn ... it makes my cpu get much hotter temps then any other burn in software

Folding@home works very good for me..I donīt get higher temps with any other program.

Yeah, I also get the highest temp's with Folding@Home.

Yeah the whole system freezes , can't be because i O\C it , i have done CPUburn for over an hour.
I'll try to reinstall and see what happens , thanks for your reply's sofar !!!

Heck go all out and run Prime Test, Si Sandra Burn in and 3dmark2k1 overnight, that is wat worked for me

Have also played hours of QIII and Hitman, 3DMAR2001 but no lockup at those,guess there are conflicts with another prog.

Sounds like your system aint 100% stable. Prime95 and folding is VERY sensetive to any unstability. Try clocking it a bit lower
