Whenever I try and watch a video clip, my computer restarts. I can listen to music and play games. I've updated everything, I've reinstalled drivers and codecs. I've run chkdsk.

I was watching clips ealier at work with my computer and I get it home and now have this problem.

xp pro sp1

In your control panel "system properties" undet the tab "advanced" and there under the button "startup and recovery" disable the "automatically restart" setting when a BSOD occurs. I guess your PC gets a BSOD and directly restarts.

You should also look in your event logs.

K, set no restart and will retart now and crash my computer.

It's a desktop. I work in a repair shop and there was nothing to do so I took it in to play with.

telnet service causes an error every time

It's started as well as it's three dependancies.

edit: Microsoft error when I submit to their site:
The number of processes that can simultaneously use Winsock has been exceeded
