Just got off the phone with fry's outpost.com. I bought a shuttle an35n 4 weeks ago to the night. Had it shiped overnight, got it that friday morning. Put the machine together, it ran for 2 hours and died. Depressed over that mess is what let to the a64 build that weekend. Well I forgot about the bad shuttle untill today. Called outpost.com, told them of the issue with the shuttle. They said they would have to charge me for another board and ship it overnight free to me. Gave me a rma#,,, said ship the bad one back and they would issue credit and also include recpeit of shiping back to them and that would be credited also. Then told me to go shoping if i want. Call back and anything else I wanted would ship with the shuttle overnight free of charge!!! Now thats some service. I did find something I wanted but they where out of stock so I blew it off.
Ive shoped with the egg, xcaliber, svc and god knows how many others over the years and not a one has been as nice or helpful as outpost.com. Free instant overnight replacement shiping. There selection isnt the best and there prices are only so so.... but there service is the best Ive ever seen!!
So armed with a new board,, and rooting around for parts over the next 2 weeks another folder should come online.
