Guys i got this waterpump from becooling --> http://becooling.safeshopper.com/20/61.htm?79 and i just tried to test teh system today but noticed that the pump is leaking from the sides! any type of silicone that i should by maybe at homedepot? anyone had this experience and found a silicone or a material to seal teh leak?

I wouldnt trust silicon but epoxy would work good

hmm.. Weld it may be a good idea though ;)
Maybe i should try a muffler shop tomorrow to see how much they charge me to do it.
Like you said i wouldnt trust silicone either :/

I would say take the cover off it and check the O-Ring and see if the cover and and tank are flat then put it back together. fill it up and see if it leaks.

Crappy i just did that! :(
Still leaks, i did it twice and check teh oring in all corners while i was putting the screws back again, It seemed very flat :/

The link you provided shows a common electrical junction box powdercoated in black housing cheezy Rio pump. Is it the seal on the junction box that is leaking?

Colin i think so... it does leak from the sides not from the feedinds :( like Crappy said i took it appart twice and put it back together really carefull but nothing still leaks :/

Looks like BeCooling is going through the quality control problems you will find reference to in the articles on the front page. Silicone calking will seal the lid, but I wonder if it's worth the effort.
