alright, i have come across a block of copper that i am thinking of using for a water block, would this work well. i was also planning of going to a junk yard and getting some mini fridge and taking the compressor out of it...... any ideas?. i am trying to think of how to close off the top of the block though, i have never done any sort of watercooling, so im curious to all you "goo-roos" out there that might have some brilliant idea

Well when you usually bring a compressor in, it's refridgeration, not water cooling. The only way I see that you can combine the two, is follow Treker's steps, in the link below, and instead of sticking the tip, where Treker's touched the CPU, in a resevoir of water, cooling the water. Though I do not know how you keep the compressor from cooling the water down to and below freezing, that's about one of the only problems I forsee combining the two.

Edit: Forgot I had this in bookmarks.. this is a better, pictorial overview, of refridgerating an Athlon:
