Hi,
I'm moving to a PCI-E setup and my first thought was 6600GT of course BUT browsing NewEgg I found a X800 Non Pro for 30$ more. The X800NP has 12 pipes compared to the 8 in the 6600GT and it generally kicks the 6600GT in benchies.
As far as I can see its a no brainer but I can use advice here.

the only reason to go 6600gt would be if you bought an sli (or sli moddable) motherboard, in which case you could drop in a second 6600 down the road

Another excellent option is if you can find a 6800nu, which is also a 12x1v5 board, and is often unlockable to GT levels (16x1v5). I've seen 6800nu boards for $199 consistantly, placing them within $30 of the cheapest 6600GT's.
