Just one problem... It's kinda hard to read the dates at the X-axis.
And one suggestion... Could you put the intercept dates (back?) under the team names?? I think it would be easier to read that way...

O.K. Jigpu. I modified the graph, and it does look better in my eyes. It is not on the site yet, but you gave some good suggestions.

The modifications are:

Dates in numeric day - alpha month ( ex. 3-Oct).
Intercept Date: below each chase team.
Each chase teams text color in the legend box corresponds to their line color on the graph.

Please check the Sticky for Updates and Graphs. I put a shrunk down version of the modified Challenge Graph there. Understand that it looks kind of disportionate - but will look a lot better on the web site at full size.
