So far the Athlon is undefeated! Have a dead and ugly AYHJA Y that I want to make into a keychain, but how on earth do you make a hole in these things!? I remember somebody posted awhile back that they aren't as weak as they may appear, and indeed, the cyramic is impossible to even dent!!
I made a few markings on the processor where I wanted to drill the hole, but that's it! Any help, fellow AMD fryers?
I'm pretty sure a diamond-tipped drillbit would do the trick nicely. They are rather pricey ($10 for one bit, give or take) but they cut very nice and clean. I think that'd be your best bet.

a screw will surely not work..But I think that there are bits for the Dremel available for glass cutting etc..they should get the job done!

You can do it easily as i did with a masonry bit, made to go through ceramic, and drywal, and cinder blocks and stuff of the like - or just by a ceramic bit for 46.46 at a hardware store, but id go with a 14 - 16 guage masonry bit. It WILL do the job

Man, why the hell not!? It'll just sit around, if not. I'll give you my 1.33 AXIA, since it doesn't seem like I'm going to get a replacement(or even if I do).
