i have 512megs of pc-2100 crucial ram cas 2.5. what will happen if i change the cas to 2.0 in the bios?

You will get much better memory scores. That is about all, also change comand rate from 2t to 1t if you can and try either 2way or 4 way Bank Interleave if that is adjustable. mem score will go up drastically.

Try it, if it is stable, you are fine, especially 4-way interleave helps a lot

i tried changing it to cas 2, and the scores were lower. i changed to 4 bank interleave....what does that do?
