i have a X-Connect 500W (black) psu coming in and a Aspire 550W chameleon psu coming in as well, both should be here about same time, now for my system in sig, (add 4 120mm fans, 4 ccfl's, a raptor...soon to be here, and 3 or 4 80mm fans) should i just use the two psu's or keep one or the other???

sell them both and both and get a real psu. With those two you are just asking for trouble. The new X-Connects have been known to fail terribly under load

its not a new x-connect, its the older one (i got it in a trade) very stable version, and why is the aspire bad? the rails are great and the reviews are pretty good

because Fortron and OCZ and Antec are tried and true, Aspire is not and for the cost of two psus, you could have bought one good one

I'd keep the X-Connect and get rid of the Aspire. Aspire's are mostly bling and not enough zing. Decent for a lower to mid power system but not for a high end system.
