Because team LKSAB (Lets Kick Some Alien Butt) leap frogged us when a new member joined them with 88,000+ units to his credit. We've been going back and forth with them for a while - we pass them, they jump over us, etc. We'll catch up, but it has been an ongoing battle.

Sounds like the battle my group has been doing with a team called Mama Sucht. Don't worry though we finished them off when all my crunchers (40 of them) did a 120 work unit day. I love the weekends here, seeing how most people get so trashed that they can't work a computer so all the labs are empty.

Most definately. With LKSAB they had a member join - 'The One' and he/she brought with them 88,888 new WU's. Now all we need is someone to join our team with 50k or more WU's.

But give us some time and we will pass LKSAB again - for the 3rd time.

When a user joins a team, any personal credits go to that team. If a user decides to leave a team, all of his/her personal credits leaves with him. Where ever you are, team wise, that is where your credits are counted. If for some reason 'The One' decided that he/she wanted to crunch for the best team - OC Seti - and left LKSAB, then their results would go down by 88,000+ WU's and ours would go up by 88,000 WU's - and we would be kicking some serious booty.

I think it is time for me to start a recruitment campaign in the usenet newsgroups.

Nah. Been posting in the usenet newsgroup since February. Skydalimit use to post half a dozen per day for over a month. I know what there tollerance level is. It is probably the best place, though, to campaign for recruitment.
