I can guarantee if you get some nice 16awg cables with gold plated plugs that they will perform every bit as good as the insanely ludicrous and rediculouisly priced Monster cable. Unless they're RADIOSHACK cables, those things are garbage. I'm assuming you mean component cables and optical audio cable and speaker wires as that's all need for THX

It all depends on your budget. I like to have everything uniform, so I went all Monster reference when setting up my system. The monster THX cables might be overkill...the Interlink 200 Optical's are a good cable for the money.
The Radioshack "Fusion" cables were good...but they got discountinued once Monster started being sold there. :p

depends on what the cable is...digital, get the cheapest one you want...

k so the digital cable doesnt really matter what one i get as long as its decent? and as for the speaker wire ya i'm gonna pick up some 12 gague from speaker city we have here but they only offer 3 choices, $1.50 a foot, $2 a foot, and $3 a foot
will find out the diff between em once i get there but should i buy the best they got or would it make much of a diff?

12awg is a bit thick, really I'd go for 16 and the difference is probably in what the wire is braided out of. Copper is fine, I'd go with the least expensive.
