I found an interesting thing about it. It has an IP. Can my TV be be hacked from the net? Any insight how this works? I know it is not a computer, but having an IP for a tv set(the digital tv box)? Very interesting.

Heh, I think it's just a service thing that your cable company sends out for their techs to troubleshoot **** on your line if they need to. My cable modem has a similar stats page, minus the MPEG info.

Yah, I would tend to think that it has little to do with the TV. Try connecting another set and see what happens. I would bet that that is just part of the cable box (how do you think they can turn on pay-per-view on a shared line?).
