cheap domain name registering service

I hope this is the right place to put this - i'm sure the mods will inform me if it isnt (sorry).

Does anyone know a good company, by good i mean cheap, to register a domain name. I am in the uk, bit want a .com suffix - i dont need any hosting.

Can anyone recommend a gd place?

godaddy.com i have so many domain names with them, $8 a year or sumthin like that. check out dnforums.com you will find SO much info on there, under the section where people talking about hosting companies and compare all day long
