Im about to change to Artic silver paste. Im now having old Silicone paste.

My question is, do anyone have any tips in removing the old paste from the heatsink and the processor core?

And how much less temp. do I get?

Don't use a Q-tip...they'll leave stuff behind. Make sure you use a lint free cloth (like those glassess cleaning ones you can get when you buy glassess).

Here (http://www.arcticsilver.com/arctic_silver_instructions.htm) are more specific instructions.
