new case fans, hotter cpu ?

have a kg7/ 1.4athlon. i added new case fans(sunnon) thinkin
maybe a lil more case colling would be nice. But after install,
my cpu temps have rose +4C. temps were 39c(idle), 45c(load)
now 42c(idle), (50c load). so i order'd a gak38. ?

any other suggestions. water will be next !

Look at your airflow. You've probably created a bit of a stagnant pocket right at the cpu. So your hsf is just recirculating hot air.

WHere are your case fans mounted? What direction are they blowing?

You might consider running a duct to your cpu, this guarantees that it doesn't recirculate hot air.
